About Advanced Security
Advanced Security are leaders in electronic security solutions. For over 20 years, they’ve been trusted to secure New Zealand’s most important organisations and have 16 offices nationwide. They offer access control systems, CCTV, perimeter and intruder detection solutions, ID cards and fully customised security solutions. They are a part of the wider TPT Group.
Advanced Security has proactively grown over time, and with an increase in size, comes an increase in the volume of moving parts and the complexity of bigger operations. While being well established with many great systems and processes, it was been identified there is room for improvement across core operations.
Through a series of conversations, Advanced Security engaged Heidi to facilitate a Systems Strategy. This consisted of pulling the key team together for a day together at their head office, mapping out the current state of people, process and software (across leads, sales, delivery, finance, offboarding / repeat). Through a traffic light system, the improvement pieces were identified, as well as drawing out some of the concrete initiatives that could be explored. The golden insights from the team, paired with an external consultant formed the basis of a Systems Strategy Recommendations report.
The recommendations of this report will implemented in a phased,logical approach in 2024

- Confidence in knowing the areas of systems that are working well, and do not need to be reinvented
